SA Global Ventures began in 2014 with a contract to develop a building inspection business in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. For the next three years, we explored markets, developed systems, and studied local technology. The result was the identification of tools and procedures. However, our local partner was unable to follow through and the effort has been temporarily abandoned. We are actively looking for opportunities to employ our technology, training and marketing skills in fulfilling our mission.
Peter E. Hollander, R.S. Founder
In 1976, Mr. Hollander traveled around the country photographing and documenting solar buildings in the U.S. His photographs were first published in William A. Shurcliff’s encyclopedic compendium. The effort ultimately led to a career that focused on energy and building technology, beginning at the Franklin Institute Research Lab in Philadelphia where he led the Building Technology Group publishing numerous reference materials, developing scores of training programs for diverse groups such as installers and lenders, and working as task group leader publishing ASTM E-1056 Standard Practice for the Installation and Service of Solar Domestic Water Heating Systems. From there, he joined the Energy and Environment Division of Booz Allen & Hamilton in Washington, DC consulting with government and industry. In the early 80s, he left Washington to become director and later president of the Cornerstones Energy Group. There, he was responsible for training and oversaw the development of various energy-related software products and electronic catalogs. In 1989, he began a 25-year career with Criterium Engineers, a franchisor of building inspection consulting engineers. There, he developed all legal documents, operations manuals, training programs, software development and national marketing, along with recruiting and establishing 80 engineering offices around the country and increasing the annual average business volume of each office six-fold. Since 2014, he has focused on building inspection systems and a network of individuals and companies that share his vision of the future.
